Cellular shades are one of the most popular options for french doors and sliding glass doors. Hunter Douglas’ Duette® TrackGlide® system is one of the only shades on the market that can be placed directly on a french door without any drilling required. Instead, the honeycomb shade is on an adhesive track.
On sliding glass doors, cellular shades can be turned into the vertical position. No sliding product stacks better than a honeycomb. Horizontal cellular shades are also a nice option for sliders no matter how large the door. Even at 12 feet wide, they can be automated with a battery motor.
